Twink picked a baaaaaad place to hang out this morning. The freezer???? I don’t believe the scarf is doing much for him either.

My mom drove in today to help out for a bit. She brought my baby picture with her. No doubt this child is my daughter:

I bought this knitted diaper cover months ago, but it just arrived last week. I’ve needed something like this for my newborn sessions anyway, but you know I was dying to try it out on the little miss. Unfortunately, I could *barely* get it on her today! I can’t believe how quickly she’s growing. I was literally stuffing her into it. So this is her one and only shot in it. ;-)

This is “Twink.” He’s our elf (on the shelf). This is his first year with our family. He’s the reason our boys are up by 6:30 a.m. every morning (grrrrr). He was tired of L’s elf having all the fun. It’s on now…

Finally was able snag Daddy (AKA Mr. Mom for the past few weeks ;-)) for a short session with his daughter. They absolutely melt my heart. A little different for my style I think, but I’ve been so inspired lately by the moodiness of Dina Marie’s recent work.

I know I *had* to do it, but to be honest, I was dreading trying to take a pic of all THREE kiddos together. But we gave it a try this morning. She was so patient with her big brothers. And they were so patient with me.

I’ve always wanted to do these kind of squishy newborn-propped-up-on-the-arms pics, but I’ve *never* been able to pull it off. It takes a lot of patience for sure. But, my little angel let me do this today and I’m giddy! You know what really struck me, though? How much she’s filled out in just a few days. She’s getting that heavenly layer of baby fat. It’s so amazing how quickly they change at this age! You’d think this was my first baby or something. Or perhaps it’s because I know how fast it goes by and I don’t want to miss/forget a second of it.

Thank you all for your kind comments and well wishes! For those that have mentioned that I must be “supermom” to be up and taking pics already with two other kids: oh, that couldn’t be further from the truth. My hubby is home and helping out tremendously. It doesn’t hurt that the boys have been back to preschool, too. I’m not supermom. This glorious time will all end way too soon when hubs goes back to work. ;-)

Lyndsay left me this from Amry’s Birth Day. Isn’t this an incredible shot???? I can’t believe I missed it earlier. Thank you so much Lyndsay!!!!! I love it! (L just so happens to be at another birth right now. Some girls have all the luck! I can’t wait to start doing births again…just not my own;-))

She’s got a bit of jaundice going on, so she spent much of the morning basking on a beanbag in the sun. Of course, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to throw on a black backdrop and snap some sleepy newborn pics:

Obviously, I take pictures at other times, too. Sorry, guys. I’m afraid this blog has been taken over by little Miss Pinkle Toes for the duration. ;-)

I’ve resorted to taking pictures of the fake flowers in my bathroom. ;-) Just got a new lens and have been desperate to play with it. Loved the last pic of T, though. I know it’s not anything spectacular, but the happy-go-lucky expression and his favorite construction t-shirt and the dirt on his face…it’s just so *him*.

And get this: I actually took a spur-of-the-moment maternity session for someone tomorrow!!! I told her we are sure to be a sight: Me at 39 weeks preggo and she is expecting TWINS!!!! Check back tomorrow for her sneak peeks.
