Michele is awesome! Must be the name right?!? My daughter goes to Ms. Michele and now sings in her crib, in the car, ALL the time. I have no singing voice to speak of but when I’m singing with the kids it doesn’t matter. Michele always makes you feel comfortable and have a great time! We even did a Music Together Birthday Halloween party for Avery this year, and it was so much fun. I heart Heartsong!

This sounds like a lot of fun. Cole is just starting to get into music (he loves watching the visualizer in iTunes while the songs play), but his favorite kids song so far seems to be Willoughby Wallaby Woo by Raffi.

I had the rare and gratifying experience to attend a class with my daughter, Michele, the author of this blog, and my precious granddaughter Amerlyn. Her eyes lit up (yes…..Michele’s…ha), when the music and singing started, The time flew by way too fast. I, too, teared up during the lullibies. I plan to attend a lot more of these classes with all the grandkids, but did want to share and echo Michele’s comments that Heartsong is filled with very talented teachers who not only do this because the children enjoy it, but also because the adults enjoy it as well and the teachers are able to share their talents and gifts for everyone to experience. What a fun memory and if I could only remember the words, I am forever humming the tunes…..Can’t wait to move to Austin and get into some more of these classes. Mee Maw had a great time and plans on having many many more.

It’s impossible for me to pick a favorite song, so I’ll give you Delilah’s current favorite song: Weezer’s new song “I Want You To”. When I play it in the car she starts clapping and singing and dancing so hard that her car seat shakes. Music is the BEST for these little kiddos…all of Daddy’s drums are favorites of Miss D’s!
