I’m sorry. What?
Virgil and I woke up this a.m. to the sound of the boys running the vacuum cleaner. We all know, that’s never a good sign (remember the blueberries?). But much to our surprise when we got downstairs, they were cleaning…for no reason.
Let me repeat that: cleaning. For no reason.
Just doing something nice.
Without being asked.
The entire downstairs was spic and span. All toys put neatly away. Crumbs freshly vacuumed. And the two boys were seated at their play table playing with Legos. Playing together. Not fighting. (Okay, there was one small scuffle…T didn’t want L to run the vacuum just yet because he didn’t want to wake us up. Awwwwwwwwwww!)
Pinch me. I’m dreaming…

It’s only a dream if you don’t wake up.

Wow. sure hope I have that dream one day! But I’m sure mine would end up being a nightmare with my kids lol

Wow that’s fantastic! Love it when the kids clean up on their own, doesn’t happen very often does it? They must be making up for the Blueberries, which by the way is like a snip it of what its like around my house with 5 kids! ha!

Michele, we are doing great, thanks for asking. Cassie just turned 1 last month and we’re just itching to schedule a session with you. And just so you know, your blog does not help with my case of baby fever!

That is so fantastic and so cute! About a week ago my 9 y/o decided to begin getting up at 6:00 every day, all on her own, and do her chores and practice the piano “to get them done early so I can spend the rest of the day having fun”, we too were shocked, amazed and so proud, kids are so awesome, moments like that restore our faith in our parenting skills, you have raised those boys well!!
