PINKLE TOES PHOTOGRAPHY: Family ♥ Austin Baby Photographer

I just need to ramble on for a minute.
She’s 7 months old. Which is only 5 months away from 1 year. Which is causing me great emotional pain. Gosh, it was almost a year ago when we found out we were having a little girl. I was so incredibly excited to get the chance to have a daughter, but I had no concept of just how much of a blessing she would be. I also had no idea how much she would change her big brothers. Her relationships with them are so unique, so close, and so special already…

…T loves her. In a big way. With his entire heart. Unconditionally. She can do no wrong in his eyes. He’s extremely protective of her. Every morning he comes into our room and she’s the first (and sometimes only) person he acknowledges. He has a certain voice that he uses with her and only her. Their bond is deep. It goes beyond what I can comprehend.

Then there’s Logi Bear. Their relationship is based on good times and good humor. It’s jovial. It’s light. It’s effortless. He can just look at her and she cracks up. They love to laugh together. I envision many dinners filled with witty banter and laughing until we cry.

And I see many hugs of support and encouragement and strength and love.
Family. Nothing sweeter.

I see Zach and Kalli when I look at T and her. Zach was so protective of Kal and loved her so very deeply! I think seeing these pictures make me just gasp! It is the anniversary of Zach’s passing and I can totally see the love between A & T and know that they will have that special bond that Zach and Kalli had!

Oh! What a cute little person you have… :-) She’s growing up, which is always difficult to swallow, but her personality is emerging with force and determination! You shall enjoy many, many great moments in the next few years. Love the last one.

OH! Having two boys you really are tempting me with this one… one more try?! I’d be calling you if they told me a boy was floating around ;) Great shots!

Michele, You have made me cry. Your words and your photos tend to do that to me. Although, this post comes at good time. Scott and I were watching the kids play last night and Scott said, “Gracen sure is a good sister for a boy.” I had to remind him that is was the boy who made his sister what she is. (I have pictures of Luke teaching Gracen how to sword fight before she could walk.) It sounds like your boys will do the same thing while she adds to their personalities as well.
I also wanted to tell you…. We are now living in Mansfield, TX just south of DFW. As soon as I lose some of this weight and feel better about myself, you will be the first person I call. I can’t wait to see what you can do with my family. A road trip to Austin also means I could hopefully get my hands on that baby girl of yours!
Nik
(You don’t have to post this. I just wanted to comment on these pictures. Like always they are amazing.)

This has to be in my top five of your posts ever. So beautiful. I watched James put an arm around his little sis on her first amusement park ride today when she got scared and my heart melted. These pictures give me that same feeling.

So incredibly beautiful. Both your daughter and the sentiments. We also have two boys and a girl, and it’s like she’s the glue that keeps them all together. So special!

Beautiful as always! I went to PSP today and walked into one of the portables and was greated with a very cheerful “Ms. Heather!!!” It was my Logi bear!! It was great to see him and get one of his big bear hugs! We will be moving to Brenham in about a week so I won’t get to see him next year. Makes me really sad. I will have to keep up with the family via the blog. Keep those pics coming!
