But at the beginning of July this year they started charging 20c each for their plastic bags! Yay! Hopefully now all the other department stores will follow suit! They've just started charging for bags where I live, at least at the grocery stores. I think right now it's $0.05/bag which isn't really a lot because if you get 20, that only works out to $1. Can't I just stick those things in my purse... or carry them in my hands. I have been known to divvy up quite a few items to hubs, and two kids and myself just to avoid the bag. I had to fight with a kid at Target to not bag my toothbrush and toothpaste (only two items). Once at Home Depot I lost the fight over bagging a roll of Duct tape. Really bagger?
