PINKLE TOES PHOTOGRAPHY: The light of knowledge ♥ Austin Child Photographer

Well. It happened. My eldest graduated from Pre-K. In the grand scheme of things, I know it’s not a huge deal, but in the Anderson household, it actually is. This marks the beginning of a major change. I haven’t talked about it much (at all?) on here, but my husband (yes, the mohawked-5th-grade-science-public-school-teacher) will be saying goodbye to that part of his life (he’s been teaching for more than a decade) to stay home and lead our own home school.

Wow. It feels strange to type that out.  A little scary.

It’s exciting, too, because I know our children will have one of the greatest teachers I’ve ever known.  His/our vision for our school is very different from the norm. And I hope that we can follow through with the greatest success.

CONGRATULATIONS on your lil guy’s graduations! Definitely a big accomplishment in his eyes anyway. I love the pic–he looks so pensive. It’s awesome that you and your hubby have decided to homeschool your children. I’m sure they will enjoy it as much as he will. Again congrats!

We homeschool, too and also follow a path unlike the one many others choose. Your family lives such a full life and your children are surrounded by so many wonderful and creative things. They won’t be able to keep themselves from learning! You will love it. We’ve been doing it for 3 years and it is the best decision we ever made. I look forward to reading y’alls homeschool adventures!
