PINKLE TOES PHOTOGRAPHY: Hanging out ♥ Austin Baby Photographer

As the end of my “maternity” leave draws near, I’m trying to squeeze out every second I can enjoying time with the kiddos. This includes finally induging in my overwhelming compulsion to put a pink bow in my daughter’s hair (while she still has some). I can’t believe it. It’s like a sickness. I just *had* to do it.
Here she is in much better spirits (I think it was the bow). Although I’m not sure what the deal is with her grabbing her ears?

We had an amazing visit last week with Aunt Nee Nee, who showed me that she’s no longer my kid sister, but has truly become her own woman. I am so proud of her and how she’s taken control of every aspect of her life. She inspires me. She also inspired me to take this snappy:

And then there’s my T man, who is learning to write more and more each day:

This is his very first sentence:

“I love Logan.”
There you have it. Proof that he doesn’t *really* hate his brother even though he insists he would gladly trade him in for a tractor or another baby sister. Sigh.
And back to baby sister…

Is it wrong of me that I absolutely LOVE that she sucks her thumb. This is a first for me. Try as I may to give her a binky, she will not take one from me. She insists on her thumb. The child was sucking her thumb in both of her ultrasounds. She has sucked her thumb since she was just a few days old. I know we will probably have a tough time with breaking this habit, but I find it oh-so endearing right now.

So cute! C sucks her thumb too so I can totally relate, by far the cutest “bad” habit she’s picked up. Your boys are getting so big! [and sorry for the accidental calls this afternoon by the way!]

Just stopping by…
I can’t believe how big she is getting Michelle!!! She is absolutely precious. I just want to squeeze those chubby cheeks!
On the thumb sucking.. we just got back from California visiting some friends and her girls do this. I’ve never seen anything so cute, I tell ya! But I would imagine that it will be a bad habit to break. But it’s sooo cute…
Enjoy the rest of your maternity leave!
Blessings~

oh, my baby sucked her thumb too, and I loved it! She gave it up easy-as-pie…just told her she was a big girl one day, and that was it! And then you miss that “baby” part of them when it’s gone. enjoy. (by the way, beautiful shots as always :)

I LOVED that my son sucked his thumb, and he stopped on his own! So no worries, although I have to admit I didn’t stop till I was much older (I won’t divulge my age). lol.

How do you do it? How do you balance a photography business and kids? You inspire me! How many hours a week will your kids be out of the house so you can work? Sorry, to ask…I’m a photographer struggling with how much time I should have my kids with a sitter. I have a 9 month old and a 5 year old. You do amazing work!
