She let me do a little photo session with her today. Oh, so many pictures! Oh, so many things I want to do. Oh, so little time. I don’t want to miss her early days stuck behind the camera, but I don’t want to forget these days either. A mother’s struggle never ends, huh?

Oh you are going to have sooo much fun! Keep snapping the photos, but just pause between each shot for at least one minute to simply gaze at her :)

my mantra when teagan was born was to “shoot shoot shoot”. I’d pull one or two and proof them, then file the rest in a file called “edit when my children are grown and i am bored”. seriously….i have thousands sitting in a folder, untouched. but i have them, and i get to move on and enjoy him every second that i can. you have the rest of your life to proof, so just snap away a few minutes a day and then enjoy that beautiful baby.

My heart just squeezed looking at the above photo. It’s not just a stunning shot of your little one at such a young age, but one that was lovingly shot by her mother herself. It makes it all the more special.. :)

Oh gosh – I miss her so much already…I am so thankful to be have been a part of the first few days of this little angel’s life. She is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We love her so much and are truly blessed.

oh, Michele, she’s lovely!!! I agree with the “shoot now, edit later” posts above. As photographers, we are always seeing images, and I’ve found that if I don’t get at least a few (hundred of) them, I go a little nuts. ;-) Get yourself a million billion new memory cards and just shoot to your heart’s content…don’t worry about offloading, just click whenever the inspiration strikes. If you give her a kiss for every click, it will all balance out in the end. xoxo

She truly is a gorgeous newborn. I totally feel your conflict but then again, she’s got to be a fairly content baby for you to feel conflicted. I completely missed shooting my two youngest ones’ earliest years.
